Welcome to the National Screen Critics Guild!
Thanks for stopping by. We're glad you found us!
Whether you're a lifelong movie buff, a devoted television fan, or someone who simply enjoys a good story and a spirited conversation, you're welcome here. You don't need professional credentials or industry connections to have an opinion. Bring your curiosity, your enthusiasm, and your love of entertainment. Pull up a chair and make yourself at home.
Everybody's a critic. Now there's a place for us.
National Screen Critics Guild (NSCG) welcomes people who enjoy discussing movies, television, streaming series, video games, comedy, recorded performances, animation, web media and other experiences delivered through screens.
Experience. Review. Meet. Share.
We connect entertainment discovery, structured reviews and conversations. Film-Index is our structured movie-review destination; ScreenIndex covers other supported screen entertainment. WatchWhat.cc helps visitors discover movies and series.
How reviews work
First complete a structured review on the appropriate Index-Reviews site. Then you may share its link and write your own expanded free-form review in Critics' Corner. Review links are provided by members and are not independently certified by the Guild. Ordinary discussions and replies do not require a prior review.
Independence and sponsorship
The Guild is sponsored and operated by Index-Reviews. Members speak for themselves. Their opinions are not endorsements by the Guild, its sponsor or other members. Membership is free and does not confer press credentials, professional accreditation or nonprofit status.
Community standards
Discuss ideas and entertainment respectfully. No harassment, impersonation, spam, plagiarism, fabricated reviews or posting other people's personal information. Help us keep this a welcoming place where people can disagree about the work without attacking one another.
